The next Fuckup Nights Lisbon will happen on October 18th at 6 PM at Catch-me Lisboa, in Jardim 9 de Abril.

The event is organized by StoryKnack, with the support of local partners 351 Portuguese Startup Association, Lisboa Unicorn Capital and Startup Lisboa, through our Community Fund, which intends to support the entrepreneurial and innovative community by funding several events and activities in Lisbon.

✔️ We have partnered with Fundação Santander Portugal to support the Portuguese startup ecosystem with €30.000 through Santander X Portugal Awards 2023 in two categories! 🎉

𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫?
👉Seed: designed for entrepreneurs with projects in validation to launch on the market, this category includes €10,000 in monetary prizes;

👉 Early-stage: intended for startups with disruptive potential and a product or service on the market, this category adds €20,000 in monetary prizes.

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Câmara Municipal de Lisboa (CML) through Lisboa Unicorn Capital in launching our first community fund for the innovation ecosystem development in this city!

Our goal is to support over 30 small but regular events related to technology, innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity so they can happen in Lisbon until the end of 2024.

We are excited to reveal that Portugal Tech Week will return for its second edition from November 12th to 22nd! 🎉

This is the largest innovation festival in Portugal, and it aims to be one of the biggest in the world.

We have confirmed the first 40 events across the country. Additionally, we are proud to introduce the first 18 curators/ambassadors, who are experts and ecosystem leaders in their respective fields and locations, and will be supporting us in bringing events to this initiative.

We're also delighted to have received endorsements from over 20 ecosystem supporters across 12 districts in Portugal! In just three weeks since its launch, Portugal Tech Week has already garnered over 11.5 unique users!

✔️ The NOVA FCSH Best Business Idea Award is back for its 2023 edition, focused on the "Go Green Go Social" motto.
 
This initiative intends to boost the most innovative ideas in areas such as Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities that can make a significant contribute for the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
 
The award will offer 4.500€ for the winners and also facilitates networking, contact with the entrepreneurial ecosystem and with the corporate world.

📌 October 1st to 31st – Fábrica do Futuro

The Guimarães City Hall is promoting the Fábrica do Futuro initiative throughout October, which will encompass several events in different areas, such as health, tourism and retail. More than 30 events will happen within the city.

📌 October 16th to 31st – Porto Tech

Our beloved city of Porto is buzzing with energy! From October 16th to 31st, more than 10 events will connect the local tech community with worldwide founders and investors. These activities are part of “Porto Tech”, a new initiative launched to celebrate technology and the startup ecosystem in the city.

📌 October 20th – Unicorn Capital Tours - Foodtech

On October 20th, Lisboa Unicorn Capital will present its next tour, this time focused on Foodtech. It will take place at Delta Cafés, from 3.30 PM on, with the presence of Grupo Nabeiro's CEO , Dr. Rui Miguel Nabeiro. After a conversation on the impact and opportunities that Foodtech brings to the innovation ecosystem in Lisbon, there will be a coffee break and networking.
