Registration for the Santander X Portugal Award 2023 is open until October 16th.  The Santander Foundation wants to promote entrepreneurship in Portugal, distinguishing the best startups in the seed and early stage categories.

Santander X Portugal Award 2023 will connect Portuguese startups to Santander’s international entrepreneurship network, in two categories:

• Seed: designed for entrepreneurs with projects in validation to launch on the market, this category includes €10,000 in monetary prizes. More information here.
• Early-stage: intended for startups with disruptive potential and with a product or service on the market, this category adds €20,000 in monetary prizes. More information here.

The finalists in both categories of the initiative, promoted by 351 Associação Portuguesa de Startups, will be provided with training, technical support and specialized mentoring for the launch and promotion of their projects.

The three winners in each category will be distinguished by a committee of key players from the Portuguese business ecosystem, receiving a cash prize and direct access to the Santander X Global Award 2023 competition, competing against European and South American teams.

For 351, this is a very relevant initiative for the Portuguese ecosystem. “351’s mission is to support entrepreneurs to achieve their business goals. Therefore, the partnership with Santander Foundation and the promotion of the Santander X 2023 Award will enable 20 entrepreneurs to be trained and to gain access to both tools and platforms enabling them to learn and develop their businesses more effectively”, says Isabel Carapeta, project manager at the 351 – Associação Portuguesa de Startups.
