The Altice International Innovation Award (AIIA) is now open for applications, offering a €100,000 prize to innovative national and international projects. Startups in the incubation phase can apply in two categories: the Startup category, which focuses on technological innovations relevant to Altice’s core business, and the INCLUI category by Fundação Altice, which rewards projects that promote digital inclusion and communication accessibility for people with disabilities. Winners will receive monetary prizes, the chance to conduct a proof of concept with Altice, and access to incubation services from Startup Lisboa/Unicorn Factory Lisboa or Startup Braga.
The award, now in its 8th edition, is one of the largest innovation prizes in Portugal, having been a key part of the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem since its launch in 2017. With over 600 participants to date, the AIIA aims to promote and support technological talent, reinforcing Portugal’s global standing in innovation. The winners will be announced on November 26 at a ceremony in Lisbon.
