Mapping the Startup Community and Ecosystem in Portugal

The future of entrepreneurship in Portugal depends on the strength of its local communities. We’re launching a national survey to map the main challenges, opportunities, and needs of startups and community leaders across the country.

This is more than just a data collection effort — it’s the first step of a collaborative movement. By participating, you’re helping to create a real picture of the ecosystem, identify what’s missing for startups to emerge and grow, and shape practical strategies to strengthen innovation nationwide.

Three steps to create real impact

1. Mapping the Ecosystem

We’ll hear directly from entrepreneurs to pinpoint startups’ main challenges, map opportunities and gaps, and gauge ecosystem development nationwide.

2. Community Gathering & Co-Creation

Using these insights, we’ll convene entrepreneurs, community leaders, investors, and support organizations in a workshop to review findings and co-create solutions.

3. Strategy and Action

We’ll craft action plans and projects with lasting impact, ensuring each community leaves with clear next steps to strengthen its ecosystem and inspire nationwide change.
